What's new? July 2019

It's time for another look at some of the awesome new features we've added to The Access Platform over the last month - we're always innovating!

This month, the standouts from our list of updates are the new Promotions feature, the ability for admins to edit ambassador bios and full profile views for ambassadors. Keep scrolling to find out more and imagine what difference they could make to your peer recruitment efforts!

Promotion - make your first one now!

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to market your TAP Page in an exciting, engaging and personalised way, which is where our new Promotion feature comes in.

The new feature offers you a trio of options for driving more traffic to your TAP Page, using pre-defined search terms that you can choose. First, you can make a pop card, that includes your ambassador photos.

Second, you can add a simple - but effective - call-to-action button to encourage more people to start chats with your ambassadors.

Last but not least, you can also now create tracked links. These are ace; you can create URLs with tracking and pre-defined search terms, which will pre-filter the TAP Page to whatever search terms you choose eg. International AND Business Studies.

Edit ambassador bios and first messages

Let’s face it - sometimes, typos happen. No sweat, it’s part of life. Or, your institution might require its name to be written in a certain way, with Capital Letters in Specific Places (see what I did there?).

In short, all that leads into the fact that your ambassadors’ bios and first chat message might, on occasion, need a quick tweak or tidy up. So, we’ve now given admins the ability to do just that.

Admins can edit ambassador bios and first chat messages directly, which saves time and makes it quicker for those profiles to be set live and those valuable conversations to start happening!

Ambassadors - full profile view now available!

Now this, this is cool.

Prospective students can now have a full view of an ambassador profile - a bit like if they stumbled across that ambassador’s social media channels.

This includes all of the content they’ve posted and FAQs they’ve answered, all in one place.

Naturally, this is super helpful for prospects so they can get more of an insight into the ambassador’s experience, interests and life at uni, and make sure they’re chatting to the right person!

This feature is already live and kicking - just follow the links from an ambassador’s profile on the TAP Page to see them in all their glory!
