Edge HIll’s campus is in Ormskirk, Lancashire - close to Manchester and Liverpool. It was opened in 1885 as Edge Hill College, the first non-denominational teacher training college for women in England, before admitting its first male students in 1959.
In 2005, Edge Hill was granted Taught Degree Awarding Powers by the Privy Council and became Edge Hill University on 18 May 2006. It was the Times Higher Education University of the Year for 2014/15/
Edge Hill’s team of Student Ambassadors have already been busy creating content and answering FAQs, and are now ready to start having conversations with prospective students and really harnessing the power of peer recruitment.
