Campbellsville University is a private Christian university in Campbellsville, Kentucky. It can  trace its origins to the founding in 1906 of Russell Creek Academy by the Russell Creek Baptist Association, before gaining university status in 1996.

The university has off-campus centers in Kentucky cities Harrodsburg, Hodgenville, Liberty, Louisville, and Somerset with instructional sites in Elizabethtown, Owensboro, Summersville, one in Costa Mesa, California, and a full complement of online programmes.
